Just to clarify to the women saying she's different shaped. She's not different shaped, she's fat.

I used to love this show.. that is until I seen ABSOLUTELY no growth.. it was like as the seasons and shows went on she got bigger or cried more how "no one understands" all while hiding her binging.. Like c'mon now. I am by no means throwing "shade" or "hate" I am simply speaking the honest truth.. I would love to see her actully put some effort forth. like ACTUALLY, not just a dance class.. eat better and exercise STOP CRYING please.

Ill be the one to say it, this last season whitney has gone off the rails and this show no longer reflects the message it had originally intended. Much like a train wreck in slow motion, her constant denial and falsely propped up Body Positive Image message. How about Positive Body Health? Normally in the cases of reality shows, a lot of the subtext and plot is manufactured. But in this show's case, while the aforementioned is true to a small extent. The real and very present dangers in the conflicting messages portrayed by Whitney serve as stark warnings to others, not as inspirations. Her dramatic weight gain and medical emergencies this last season was directly as a result of her ignoring the directives of medical personnel and the concerns of family and friends. While the struggle is real, sadly much of the struggle is a direct result of Whitney being in denial and ignoring critical directives and advice. The best thing that could happen, is the show is cancelled and Whitney focus on her health for real.

I work really hard on my fitness. I feel a responsibility to stay as fit as I can so as not to burden taxpayers as much as possible with healthcare costs now and in the future. I also feel a responsibility to my family and friends as well, especially my son to promote fitness for overall well-being and balance. Obesity, especially morbid obesity causes endless physical problems. Studies also show it causes dramatic cognitive impairment as well. This is horrifying and should not be enabled. Terrible premise for a show. Only in America.

I stand by my comment under first episode, I will add being tall and currently skinny,I wasn't & for 8yrs I was on meds that caused horrific weight gain,so for this girl I have massive empathy.... but this "show" promotes obesity and I'm talkin those w 0 ZERO self control who eat fast food 16X's a day. See cuz I stopped meds I still got left the weight, it took time 2yrs in fact, where I simple ate normal & exercised now I'm 5'10 & 140lbs, when I had got up to 250lbs... i actually stopped weighing myself so prob weighed more. Point put fork down, this girl she has illness and shes kickin ass... dont use her acceptance of her very uncommon situation to justify why u shovel crap down ur throat, & use her as why ur ok doing this is sick. a bit harsh but true. food can b an addiction worse than drugs...& I call bull S*** on need more crap tv. we need self control classes available for all. Don't mix my words, I am only speaking about those who would use an illness, that caused a happy girl to have to fight her booty off to gain control of her life again, for there own sick selfish gluttonous ways I say PUT FORK DOWN,U HAVE A PROBLEM . If u r not that person, stand tall & b proud. If u think these reality shows r helping, do some research they don't

whether some like this show or not,It should be available for those that do like it. I think she does try to promote positive thinking in all people, whether thick or thin. Missing Season 4 episode 3. I would love to see it. I have scoured the internet trying to see it, but, keep running into a brick wall.

Honestly, I never watch Reality TV but I do, once and a while, get sucked into one that catches my eye and I watch a few. I like the fact that this show exists. I just went through a serious car accident and recovery that took over 4 years ( I still need multiple spinal surgeries) and being on steroids, pain meds and muscle relaxers & antidepressants to deal with Fibromyalgia that started post accident and the depression of having to be totally reliant on others for showering etc.. I gained 50 lbs and I am a tiny girl. I stopped all those meds and the weight came off easily the past year or so but I am having a hard time getting back down to the tiny frame I am used to. I can relate, in some ways, to Whitney and I think that she has a great amount of confidence in her appearance and dating life. (More than I ever had when size zero jeans were falling off me! lol) I really feel for her. I was a chubby kid starting at 10 and had no reason to be. I was a kid that was out all day and night walking the neighborhood with friends and by the time I was in my 1st year of college I had gained a whole lot of weight for no reason. I too had ovarian issues and I am grateful that it wasn't PCOD because it is debilitating for a woman. To have the weight gain no matter what you eat, how much you exercise, and then the facial hair etc must be horrible to deal with when you are dating! I had 2 ovarian cysts that had started to grow when I hit puberty and by the time I was 19 they were softball sized and within 2 years of them being removed I went down to a size 1/2 which is thin as a rail! lol I stayed that way, even through a 2nd surgery for the same condition though the 2nd time they found malignant cells and it was scary! I stayed thin until 35 when I got in the accident and I slowly gained from the meds and now I am losing faster than I thought. But, it's hard for her. Like I said, I can't stand reality based shows. But, as you can tell by all the personal things I said here, I can relate to the frustration of doing all the right things and never seeing any results. Whitney is one of the heaviest girls I have seen. It's a matter of health at this point and I applaud her for having the guts to be on a show that documents her every day struggle with her PCOD and her weight. It made me feel great to see that there are kind and decent men out there that want to date heavier females! lol I am thankfully almost back to myself but it's comforting to know that should I ever have an issue again that there are men willing to overlook the imperfect figure and love you anyway! I wish she would JUST GET TOGETHER WITH BUDDY!!! The guy is a catch and a sweetheart and obviously loves her no matter what she looks like ... even when she gets lazy and frustrated and eats pizza lol He would be such a source of strength to her and positive support that I wish she would OPEN HER EYES and SEE that the person who she belongs with through all of this has been there all along. There's a reason he sticks around and can't seem to find his "match" either. Yeah, it's safe to say I got a little hooked on this. lol It's so unlike me but I admire her courage and in your face honesty and she is beautiful girl! 4/5 for the subject matter, the honesty and the courage of the subjects and in this nation (America) where almost everyone is obese and or very overweight it's a good example of the struggle and the emotional turmoil someone who hates what they look like goes through. Rooting for Whitney and hoping she gets more motivated soon! My 2 cents, Trish

Wow... No thank you. I work very hard every day for the body I have. This is just wrong. You're foolish to think people aren't going to worsen themselves in the off chance they will be the next Americas Fattest Fatties. Just look at what Jersey Shore did to the world.

as below comment i have also taken medicine that makes me 30 plus pounds over weight and it is a struggle for me to loose any weight. i eat healthier than anyone i know, i work out a hour each day, lift weights, run ect. daily and as my doctor states, it is the medicine only. ive done a total cbc and it is only my medicine. SO, i commend Whitney for having fun while on her journey of weight loss and such a positive attitude. she has inspired my attitude to lighten up and enjoy my journey!

She has an amazing spirit, and I hope that this educates people more about pcos. I have a few friends with pcos, and I know how much they have struggled with their weight. They can eat even less than me, a thin person, and hold onto tens of extra lbs, even hundreds. "Fat" isn't always a choice, or a matter of "just putting down the fork." Anyway, Whitney is amazing, a great dancer, and such an inspiration! I wrote a little something for the basic bros who have posted, and who have downvoted me. I empathize with you, really I do, so much that I have put together this little piece in your honor: "BBAFA - Basic Bros Against Fat Acceptance About us: Look fat bitches, alright, u can't refute what I'm about to say because its just the truth because everyone just knows it and so its not "biggatree" like u fatties want to say it is. I personally go to the gym and cycle to work so I'm allowed to say it too: I can't brag to the other basic bros about banging a chick who doesn't have an extremely low body fat percentage. Science proves this. Actually I think its my right to never have to even see a chick who doesn't look like something I could brag to my bros about banging. Let me ask u hambeasts something? Don't u even feel bad about looking like something I couldn't brag to my bros about banging? How do u sleep at night knowing ure not going to ever know the pleasure of being objectified by me and my bros?!?!?!?!?!?! This is why fat acceptance has to go, who has ever heard of accepting something that isn't going to contribute to my personal bragging rights, in the social reality that me and the other basics have chosen? Science proves this too. Furthermore, how are u going to call it biggatree when theres not even any trees involved, just biggawomen. Science proves this. So all u fatties need to put the fork down so that I never have to address this issue again. Can I get a hell yeah? Hahaha see and u bitches didn't think I was as clever as u either with ur fat logic talking about how women don't naturally have as low a body fat percentage as us bros. U see chicks, and this is coming from a dude so I know all dudes agree: Fat logic tries to make it ok for women to eat things that taste good instead of only things that are going to make them bangable. Thats so gross and lazy. As a bro, and you need to take me seriously as a bro, I personally believe, and my bros will back me up here, that women need to look like men everywhere but in the tits and crotch, because a womanly body is weak and it doesn't look fit like my bros at the gym. Science proves this. My final thought, let us be honest here, we all know its true, science proves this, that no bro has a higher priority than being able to brag to other bros about the bitches he bangs and when you hambeasts are trying to get other bitches to eat things that actually taste good to u, ur spreading the disease of fatness to everyone and then who can I brag about banging? Fat logic and feminism are an attack on basicbros bragging rights and that goes against nature. Science proves this and take it from me, a bro, I know that all bros and science agree with this and u bitches can't even argue with it."

I relate to her SO much, I have the same problem as she does, and people always look at me and judge me, they have no idea how hard it is to know that you were able to fit a size 6 jean, to, in a matter of months, have to shop in the plus size section for size 16 and over. Thank God she is bringing it to the attention of everyone out there.

I think we need far more shows like this on tv and far more advertisements with different shaped women. It is not about promoting obesity (as a lot of people claim, like the recent controversy with the plus sized model for sports illustrated), but letting young people see they are not alone if they are not thin. I think once kids start seeing they don't have to live up to a certain image they will relax and be happy in them self which in itself promotes better eating and a healthier relationship with food. A lot of kids problems growing up with food etc is the unhealthy ideas they have about food. They diet to try and be smaller or eat too much when they feel bad that they can not look thin. Also we are just not all the same shape and the idea is to feel fit and strong not thin. This woman has an amazing personality and its a great show.

this show is a huge inspiration for me and for others out there that struggle with weight loss.. I myself am not as big as Whitney but almost there... I (unlike her) have dealt with being over weight most of my life and have been ridiculed for it.. This women is teaching me to love my body and just because I am big doesnt mean i am lazy :) wish there were people like that when i was in school, like her i mean :)
